The Feed Pump is an important and Integral part of Diesel Fuel Injection
System. It is an assemblage of various components. The main components
in the Feed Pump are Hand Primer, Feed Pump Piston, Feed Pump Pin/Feed
Pump Pin Head Type/Tappet body (6mm, 9mm, ‘P’ Type),
Open Nut, Close Nut, Feed Pump Piston Spring, Feed Pump Valve Spring,
Feed Pump Rubber Gasket, Nylon Prefilter (Strainer), Prefilter Spring,
Glass Bowl for Feed Pump, Aluminium Bowl for Feed Pump, Clamp for
Feed Pump, Stud Bolt, Clamping Nut, Circlips, Sliders, Feed Pump
Gasket, Feed Pump Valve, O Rings, Sliding Tappet Bush etc. Some
of these parts in combination are also sold as Feed Pump Repair
Kits. The constitution of the Feed Pump Repair Kit depends on the
Diesel Injection Pump for which is meant and also on the most common
components of that Feed Pump which needs frequent replacement.
